Deep ruby red in color, it expresses an elegant complex of aromas of currants and blueberries on the nose, notes of licorice and tobacco tones. The taste is powerful, consistent, characterized by a slight acidity and a tannin that is always the protagonist.
The color is intense straw yellow, the nose is warm and enveloping, with hints of cedar and apricot. On the palate it is soft and persistent.
At sight it has a pale straw yellow color, crossed by a lively, fine-grained and persistent perlage. The nose exhibits delicate floral notes enriched by hints of exotic fruit and aromatic notes of Mediterranean herbs. Slightly savory, fresh and drinkable in the mouth.
Tola wines are produced with respect for nature, from entirely corporate vines that Mimmo takes care of, essentially personally, and later with the help of a team of experts. He always says that "wine is made in the vineyard", that's where everything starts and that's why he has been concerned with the plant since its inception.
The vines are found in the Bosco Falconeria and Giambascio estate at an altitude of about 400 meters above sea level, in the most prestigious "terroir" of Sicily, between Palermo and Trapani, where the plains beaten by the warm sirocco winds and the light sea breeze the place to the gentle and sunny hills.
