"It is hypothesized that the name Grisì derives from the Greek noun χρυσός (Krysòs) "Gold", which later changed in the Byzantine period to grysòs, with the attributed meaning of "Golden Land", in reference to the richness and fertility of its lands , particularly suited to agriculture and favored by a temperate climate.”

Here our Pinot Noir is born, in the Grassuri Airoldi estate, characterized by large temperature variations which allow it to mature slowly and a great concentration of aromas and perfumes.

The grapes ferment spontaneously and macerate for about five days in steel; then they slowly refine in first and second passage barriques, for a variable period of time from harvest to harvest, to finally be bottled without clarification or filtration and left to rest in the bottle for at least a year.

Ruby red color with slight garnet reflections. The very low yields make the perfumes present in this bottle really intense and enveloping with notes of small red fruits combined with refined spicy hints of white pepper. On the palate it is warm, elegantly velvety, with good acidity and structure and with present but gentle tannins.

Indicated in combination with braised meats, roasts and game, excellent with aged cheeses, it also goes well with rich fish soups.
