A wine capable of evoking and giving new life to the most ancient smells and flavors of the East and Sicily, where the Syrah vine has found a warm and breezy climate that allows all its characteristics to emerge at levels of excellence.
Syrah is harvested manually, in crates, in the last week of August, and Nero d'Avola in the second week of September. The crushed grapes are left to macerate on the skins for 15-20 days at a controlled temperature. The wine begins its refinement in French oak barriques, in which it spends 12-14 months, and then passes into the bottle where it continues to refine in glass for at least 12 months.
The result is a wine with an intense ruby red color with violet reflections, which reveals itself on the nose, with aromas of red fruits, hints of sweet spices and cocoa; the same scents are manifested on the palate, which is dense, warm, with a notable and elegant richness of tannins and a menthol finish.
