Nero d’Avola comes from grapes produced in the Bosco Falconeria estates, harvested in the second half of September and left to macerate and ferment for about 15 days at a controlled temperature.
The refinement takes place exclusively in steel tanks; the subsequent stay in the bottle has a duration of about 2-3 months before being placed on the market.
Its colour is bright ruby red; the Mediterranean component that characterize it prevails on the nose. The bouquet is infact rich in hints of ripe red and black fruit harmoniously accompanied by balsamic notes of thyme and dark spices.
The taste is fresh and fragrant, perfectly balanced among acidity, flavour and an elegant and delicate tannin.
It is a wine for the whole meal to combine with hard cheeses, pork products, roasts, braised meats, vegetables in batter and every other classic of the Mediterranean cuisine.
