Wise blend of two grapes variety, Merlot and Nero d’Avola, the meeting between one of the most important native vines of Sicily and a noble french vine that, cultivated in this estate, mellows its characteristics to the best.
The grapes are harvested and vinified separately, so as every diversity can develop its own distinctive elements after maceration and fermentation in steel tanks at a controlled temperature, the wine refines in french oak barriques for 12-14 months.
Ruby red with purple reflections where the hints of well ripened pink fruit blend to light nuances of vanilla and balsamic notes. On the palate it is soft, round, with a tannin of good persistence.
Excellent with a dish of fresh tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms or a fassona tartare with truffle.
