It is a very pure wine, with a unique and distinctive consistency, the result of an artisan and straightforward vinification; exclusively vinified in steel in order to enhance the typical traits of fruit and territory, is allowed to age for nine months in the tank and for the following three months is aged in bottle. A sip of nature that speaks the language of such a precious land, a red wine able to fully express the characteristics of the native vine.
Deep and intense ruby red in the glass, with purple nuances. The aroma has hints of rose hip and cherry, blackberry, cassis and cocoa, on a clear background of Mediterranean scrub. The mouthfeel is full and consistent, velvety in the tannic texture, soft with an excellent length.
It’s an always versatile Nero d’Avola: great in combination with red meat, perfect with the Palermitans baked anelletti, but it has a reason even with a good tuna steak.
